Weber Basin Water Secondary Water Season Startup:
- Close User Valve by April 1st: Please ensure the closure of your secondary water user valve by April 1st. This action will prevent water from entering your system.
- System Availability by April 15th: We anticipate that our system will be fully pressurized and available for use by April 15th.
- Use Caution Regarding Water Usage: While most areas will be fully pressurized by April 15th, we advise residents not to utilize their secondary irrigation water until their landscapes require it.
- Precautions Before Sod or Seeding: We recommend refraining from scheduling any sod or seeding until you have verified the availability of water.
The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District primarily wholesales secondary water to water providers, who in turn retail it to their customers. In order to increase customer service and decrease costs for users, the District has partnered with several agencies to operate and maintain District-owned secondary pipelines and connections. Kaysville has three different agencies within the city: Benchland, Davis and Weber Canal Company, and Haights Creek. Each operates independently from the city and has their own rules, rates, and schedules. Each will have their own water restrictions and enforcement.
