The Kaysville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board currently has 3 vacant seats as of January 3, 2022 and are now accepting applications from interested individuals for filling said vacancies. Interested individuals may submit an application to Mayor Tami Tran at Kaysville City Hall (23 East Center Street) or by emailing mayor.tran@kaysville.gov. Applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in order to be considered.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets regularly on the 1st Wednesday of each month during the evening. Board members serve for a term of 4 years. The Board functions as a planning, advisory, and coordinating body for the City in matters pertaining to parks and recreation plans and programs. Their efforts are coordinated with the Parks and Recreation Department and all actions or proposed actions are submitted through City staff and receive approval of the City Council prior to implementation. The Board is not empowered to bind or obligate the City or any of its departments, except as approved by the City Council, within the framework of approved plans or programs.
