As part of the work on US-89, crews will be working on activating the newly relocated Weber Basin drinking water delivery pipeline, requiring a shutdown of the current pipeline that will be abandoned. The pipeline in question is the means by which Kaysville receives all of its drinking water, and while no drinking water service interruptions are anticipated, Kaysville City will be filling all of its storage tanks ahead of the shutdown. To ensure tanks are full at the time the current pipe is shutdown, from Monday May 24th through May 27th, we ask residents and businesses to limit their consumption and conserve water as much as possible.
