council_meeting

There are currently two openings for the Kaysville City Planning Commission. The Planning Commission meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month during the evening. Planning Commission members serve for a term of 3 years. Kaysville City Mayor Katie Witt will receive applications for the Planning Commission starting June 24th. Interested applicants may submit a letter of intent, resume and application to the Mayor by Monday, July 6th before 5:00 PM to be considered.

The Planning Commission is made up of residents who are appointed by the City Council with varied professional and vocational backgrounds. They are tasked with making recommendations to the City Council regarding the General Plan, land use ordinances, amendments to the zoning map, and actions on subdivision applications. The Commission also acts on land use applications such as conditional use permits and variances.

Appointments will be made without regard to political considerations and solely on the basis of qualification for the position. It is anticipated that these two appointments will begin on July 16, 2020.

Applicants may submit a letter of interest, resume and application to Mayor Witt in person at the Kaysville City Hall, currently located at the Kaysville Police Department at 80 North Main Street, email or by mail to:
