Improved Power Outage Management and Communications Coming soon

Kaysville City Power has been working hard to rollout a new Outage Management System (OMS) by the end of 2023. Among other things, the OMS will provide residents with real-time notifications of when an outage occurs at their home, when crews have been dispatched and arrive on scene, and estimated restoration times. The OMS will also allow Kaysville Power to more quickly identify outages and pinpoint the locations and causes of outages to better service residents.

Until the new OMS is rolled out, all residents are encouraged to sign up for alerts through the Notify Me app on the City’s website at https://www.kaysville.gov/List.aspx; Signing up for alerts will allow the City to email you with updates related to power, public works, and/or emergency services among other items. Residents are allowed to choose which type of alerts they wish to subscribe to. Over 1,200 residents are currently subscribed to receive power alerts.

Please call the following numbers to report an outage:
During Business Hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.):
(801) 544-8925

After Hours:
(801) 299-7735

Utah Hazard Mitigation Plan Questionnaire

The Utah Division of Emergency Management is currently in the process of updating their State Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan will reassess each area of the state as to each area's vulnerability to natural hazards and identify actions that can be taken to minimize property damage and improve life safety prior to a hazard event.

To kick off the process, they are asking the public to respond to the following survey so they have a better understanding of risks and vulnerabilities in each area of the state, as well as gather input.

East Wilderness Park Parking Lot Reconstruction

Exciting improvements are coming to East Wilderness Park this summer with the expansion and resurfacing of the parking lot. Camp sites will remain open, but restrooms and the parking lot will be closed for up to 90 days beginning May 8th. Parking will be provided along the dirt road, east of the campsites. This project is being completed thanks to RAMP funds as well as a grant from Davis County and the State.
